Sustainability Task Force

In 2011 Canyons created a Sustainability Task Force which is a voluntary group of employees that helps guide the ski resort’s short-term environmental initiatives.  Since April 2012, the task force has implemented a program to turn down the temperatures of the refrigerators in the lodging units, organized a fundraiser for a tree farm community  garden, and has helped implement in-room recycling for the hotels in the Canyons Rental Management Program.
