Tonja B. Hanson
Tonja B. Hanson, Director of Sales, has been part of the Canyons Resort team for ten years. She oversees Conference Sales and Resort Sales. She began her career in 1982 working for the first ski wholesaler in the county, selling inclusive packages to 21 resort destinations. Tonja’s career then evolved into hotel management with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing. She spent time in various hotel sales and marketing positions in Park City before transitioning into the ski resort industry. Prior to her time at Canyons Resort Tonja was the Director of Sales at Park City Mountain Resort overseeing the resort sales team and central reservations.
As a third generation Summit County, Utah resident, Tonja is involved in many community organizations. She currently is a Planning Commissioner for the Eastern Summit County Planning Commission, recently an executive board member on the Summit Land Conservancy board (who actively work with local land owners to conserve their properties in conservation easements), as well as multiple Park City Chamber and Ski Utah boards. She enjoys skiing, boating, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family on their ranch.
