Canyons and Vail Resorts have contributed more than $635,000 to 25 local non-profits this season to help make Park City a strong and vibrant community. In addition, we are committed to inspiring and enabling our employees to give back. And as we wrap up the 2013-14 season, we want connect employees to the Do Good and Have Fun values of Vail Resorts.
To that end, we have planned a resort-wide, paid volunteer day with Habitat for Humanity and Wasatch Back Trees to revitalize Marion's South Summit Park. Over 75 employees from Canyons will be out planting trees, weeding and mulching and maintaining the volleyball court in Marion's South Summit Park located on Upper Loop Road, east of Highway 32, about a mile north of Kamas.
Note that this event is only for employees of Canyons Resort, but if you'd like to get involved with Habitat for Humanity in Utah, learn more online or call 435.658.1400.
