The Canyons Resort will be open daily from June 18th through August 29th
(Park City, Utah) June 17, 2010" Summer activities and events at The Canyons Resort kick off on Friday, June 18th. Free concerts in the Resort Village, mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, the Park City Farmers' Market, kids summer camps and numerous other happenings and adventures make The Canyons a favorite place to spend a summer day in Park City.
"¢ Ride the Flight of The Canyons gondola to a scenic 8,000 feet for just $15. The gondola will operate daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Gondola tickets can be purchased at Canyon Mountain Sports in the Resort Village.
"¢ Hop on the High Meadow lift for easier access to mountain biking/hiking trails and disc golf.
"¢ Mountain bike or hike on the variety of trails in the area. Trail maps are available from Canyon Mountain Sports.
"¢ Check out our 18-hold disc golf course, complete last summer, with the front nine starting at the top of the High Meadow lift. Access to the disc golf course is FREE with a gondola lift ticket; discs can be rented from Canyon Mountain Sports.
"¢ Join us for lunch or weekend brunch at Red Pine CafÃ©, guests who have purchased a gondola pass will receive a 10% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages.
"¢ The Cabin Restaurant, located on ground level of the Grand Summit Hotel will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving a lounge menu as well.
"¢ Wednesdays, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, check out the Park City Farmers' Market in the Cabriolet parking lot.

"¢ On July 3rd, The Canyons Resort will host its annual Independence Day celebration featuring a free concert from the Disco Drippers and a massive fireworks display in the Resort Village.

"¢ On Saturday, August 8th, The Canyons will be hosting the 2nd Annual Rock The Canyons: Intermountain Cup Grand Finale, the final race in the Intermountain Cup, a mountain bike racing series with stops across Utah.
"¢ On Saturday, September 4th, The Canyons will host the Park City Point 2 Point Mountain Bike Race. Featuring the area's best single-track, this 2nd annual race will be an exciting 75-mile XC course that will take place throughout Park City.
"¢ On Saturday, September 11th, The Canyons and Mountain Trails Foundation will host the 6th Annual Mid Mountain Marathon. This scenic single-track marathon traverses Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, The Colony and The Canyons at an elevation of almost 8,000 feet.
