The Canyons Resort and Wasatch Backcountry Rescue host Avalanche Dog Training

Who: The Canyons Resort in culmination with Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBR)

What: WBR Dog School's training day at The Canyons, teams will be working on article search techniques, ranging, and cadaver searching. The day will finish with helicopter familiarization and a flight to a search for the dogs.

When: February 4, 2010, activities will take place from 10am-2pm

Where: Red Pine at The Canyons Resort

Why: The purpose of the WBR Dog School is to bring younger dogs in training to the next level of search proficiency by bringing in senior dog handlers from WBR and Canada.
