Selected to Represent Canyons Throughout the 2011 Ski Season
PARK CITY, Utah (For Immediate Release) " After reviewing more than 450 applicants
for the "Ultimate Mountain Gig" position, Canyons Resort is pleased to announce dual
winners for ski season's greatest job. As Canyons' "Ultimate Mountain Gig Masters,"
former Olympic ski racer Kaylin Richardson and ex-British soldier Andy Campbell will
share their mountain experiences through a variety of social media channels as well as
traditional media and preside over resort events. In addition, they will each be equipped
with a season's pass, salary of $40,000, head-to-toe ski gear, and lodging at Waldorf
Astoria Park City and Grand Summit Resort Hotel.
"This season Canyons guests are enjoying the first phase of a major re-creation project
with the most technologically advanced chairlift in North America, our new "˜Ski Beach'
gathering area, six new restaurants, new gondola portal, expanded terrain and easier

Mountain Gig was created as a key component of our new future and we are so pleased to
have selected Kaylin and Andy, who each bring a plethora of unique experiences and
distinctive skills that set them apart from other applicants. They will be great
ambassadors for our guests in sharing their perspective on the new look and feel of
Kaylin is a two-time Olympian and four-time Alpine National Champion. During her 10-
year run on the U.S. Ski Team, she traveled the world while managing her own company
and multiple sponsorships. Growing up in the Minneapolis area, she first started skiing at
the age of 5 when she tagged along for a ski day with her older brothers. Ski racing soon
followed when she was 9 years old and she's been traveling around the globe for skiing

A former British soldier and veteran of many recent military operations, including Iraq,
Andy was paralyzed from the waist down after a climbing accident in 2004. He was
confined to a bed for seven-months recovering from near fatal injuries, but was back in
the mountains just one month after being discharged from the hospital. Whether it's
paragliding over Turkey, diving with Great White Sharks in Africa or logging 221 days
