If you are feeling the need to dance, head up to Park City Live on Friday night for  Ozomatli-– one of the favorite Canyons Spring Grüv performers in recent years.   In their sixteen years together as a band, celebrated Los Angeles culture-mashers Ozomatli have gone from being hometown heroes to being named U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassadors. Their music — a notorious urban-Latino-and-beyond collision of hip hop and salsa, dancehall and cumbia, samba and funk, merengue and comparsa, East LA R&B and New Orleans second line, Jamaican ragga and Indian raga— has long followed a key mantra: it will take you around the world by taking you around L.A.  Keep in mind this is a 21+ event, and show starts at 10pm.  More info:  http://parkcitylive.net/show.cfm?id=84312

Fans of How I Met Your Mother should head to the Park City Film Series to catch Josh Radnor in the 2012 Sundance Movie  Liberal Arts

Synopsis: Newly single and restless at his job, the astute Josh Radnor plays a man in his 30s reevaluating his life. His deep nostalgia for college days – the dining halls and dorm rooms, the parties and poetry seminars – makes him wonder if his best days are behind him. When his favorite professor, played by the always reliable Richard Jenkins, invites him back to campus to speak at his retirement dinner, Radnor jumps at the chance. There he meets an enticing sophomore played by a vibrant Elizabeth Olsen. Despite the difference in their ages, she awakens in him long-dormant feelings of possibility and connection. About Caitlin

Growing up in sunny Los Angeles, Caitlin thought she was always meant to be a beach bum . . . until she got her first sun burn. Feeling the pull of the powder, Caitlin has been skiing in Park City since the ripe old age of 4, and moved here full time after a 4 year stint in Boston for school. As the Communications Coordinator, Caitlin lives and breathes Canyons Resort, which works out well because she is passionate about two things: skiing and food.
